“Outlaw” Dave Andrews was a wildly popular on-air personality for KLOL in it’s heyday. Taking over as host of the Outlaw Radio Show from the show’s creator Greg “GregO” Onofrio. Andrew’s on-air persona spilled over into his public appearances. His ability to relate to the common man made him a Houston radio legend at KLOL.
Dave was also well known for his annual Dawgs on Hawgz charity ride for the Stevens & Pruett Ranch for Children and Animals. Dave was broadcasting on terrestrial airwaves in Houston on 950AM KPRC for a time.
Outlaw Dave is a member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.
Outlaw Dave returned to the FM airwaves on Houston’s Eagle 106.9 and 107.5 KHPT/KGLK from 7pm to 12am weeknights as of August 2023.
