I teach Jr. high English in West Fargo, ND, and I am an Operations Officer in the 141st MEB out of Fargo, ND. I love my kids, Madison and Steele, more than anything. In the last ten years I’ve quit drinking and smoking, gone back to school to finish my teaching degree, finished Master’s degree, deployed to two combat zones, buried a Soldier and moved away from my two kids.
I am still thankful for the opportunities I have in this world, and everything I do is about moving myself forward. I am not perfect, and I’m not always happy. I love music, and there is nothing better than the serenity of running or working out with my headphones on. That is the one time I am truly at peace.
I am a sports fanatic, but I love poetry–a good song with great lyrics that give me goosebumps is my idea of being poetic. I am 42 years old and I live in a house with my cat, Daisy. I do not have life figured out. But, so far, I’m doing pretty well…
